Westmeath ladies host Lilywhites in league clash

By Kieran Galvin

The Westmeath ladies will be aiming to get back on track this Sunday - after last weekend's unlucky defeat at the hands of Galway.

A fortuitous goal by Roisin Leonard saw Galway emerge from Kinnegad with a 1-5 to 1-3 victory on Sunday last.

Now this Sunday, the same venue will host Westmeath's clash with Kildare (throw-in: 2pm).

The setback against Galway was Westmeath ladies' first defeat in this year's Tesco HomeGrown NFL Division 2 campaign.

And Martin Flanagan's charges will now be hoping to return to winning ways this Sunday.
