Tang native wins Longford Rose title
Tang native Aisling Farrell is the new Longford Rose.
The 23-year-old, a former student of Mercy Secondary School in Ballymahon, scooped the coveted title in the Longford Arms Hotel at the weekend.
She is currently studying medicine in UCD. Also an accomplished musician, Aisling will now go forward to represent Longford at the Regional Finals of the Rose of Tralee in Portlaoise, taking place over the June Bank Holiday.
