Missing: One Roscommon GAA fan's good jumper!

The 1980s hit single 'Where's Me Jumper' might have to be rewritten for the Roscommon GAA fan who lost a 'good jumper' while celebrating the county minor team's win over Kildare in Tullamore yesterday!

There was a big reaction on Twitter to a message from the 'Ross Supporters Club' which read: 'In After match celebrations a #Roscommon #gaa Supporter dropped a good jumper on the pitch in Tullamore today Roscommon Co Secretary has it'

The message has been re-tweeted 330 times and the search for the owner of the jumper was highlighted nationally on Today FM.

In the last few minutes an exclusive picture of the jumper emerged, which revealed that it's a brilliant shade of purple.

Despite the publicity, the owner of the now-famous geansaí has not yet come forward.

The Roscommon minors booked an All Ireland semi final place by defeating Kildare yesterday, while Westmeath's minors lost out to Mayo.

Free membership to the Roscommon Supporters Club is being offered to the owner of the renegade jumper, and there are plans to donate it to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice if the search proves fruitless.

On that note, we leave you with a video of the song that's probably in your head by now:
