Location announced for Athlone Rooftop Cinema

Rooftop Cinema Athlone has announced that the location for its beautiful and intimate Rooftop Garden will be the Sheraton Athlone Hotel.

Rooftop Cinema Athlone revealed the location on its official Facebook page earlier today (Wednesday) and said that the launch details for the Rooftop Cinema will be revealed soon.

Outdoor cinema is a common feature of countries with a warm climate like Australia and parts of America, although in recent times the Irish Film Institute (IFI) in Dublin has dabbled in showing cult films outdoors in summertime and prior to Christmas in Temple Bar.
In London, the Rooftop Cinema Club shows films at rooftops around London, promising an incomparable film experience as the stars begin to sparkle overhead with a big screen, wireless headphones and comfy chairs to watch movies in a unique urban landscape.
