The 2009 Westmeath Independent Sports Stars of the Years awards ceremony took place in the Hodson Bay Hotel on Friday, January 22nd 2010. Award winners for each of the twelve months of 2010 were in attendance to receive their monthly awards at the ceremony. The overall winner of the night was Moate boxer Joe Ward, who was awarded Sports Star of the Year. Here are the winners of each of the twelve months:
