Midlands home garden festival vintage show announced

While they are certainly not short of attractions the organisers of this brilliant Festival have also just announced another great reason to visit which is the inclusion of a Vintage Show section in this years line up.

It will no doubt be very popular with motor and machinery enthusiasts and the Mullingar Classic and Vintage Club will be in attendance so there will be plenty of interesting vintage cars and machines to take you back down memory lane.

The Festival, which takes place this weekend from Friday 24th July through to Sunday 26th July, is always hugely popular with visitors who come from far and wide right across the midlands each year.  It’s a great family event with so much for adults and children to enjoy in the wonderful surroundings of Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar.

There is something for everyone to enjoy with all manner of attractions taking in everything to do with gardening and interior design.  There are extensive flower displays to see with over 3 million plants for sale over the weekend together with garden furniture and garden equipment for anyone who wants to upgrade and bag a bargain in the process.

There is expert advice on hand also with hundreds of tips available for designing  or renovating your garden. Horticulturist, John Smith will be on hand each day at 2.30pm to take your questions and give expert advice on selecting the correct plants for your garden and ensuring you get the best possible results.

Add in a tour of the historical Belvedere House and its beautiful gardens together with a visit to the Artisan Food Market, the Pet Show and avail of a great range of entertainment for the Children and you have the perfect family day out.

The festival runs from 11am to 6pm daily and visitor parking is free all weekend.  There is a great value two for one deal for adults on Friday 24th and children go free all weekend.  So why not treat the whole family to a great day out and enjoy what is sure to be a great show, see you there !
