Success for Ballinahown in Tidy Towns

Ballinahown and Glasson were both awarded in the latest batch of Tidy Towns awards which were presented this week.

Ballinahown was awarded as the overall county winner and also won a sliver medal, while Glasson was commended, in the SuperValu sponsored competition.

The awards for the Midlands and East region were presented by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs James Reilly at a ceremony in Dublin.
