Emergency repairs underway to fix burst watermain in south Roscommon

Emergency repairs are being carried out today to repair a burst watermain impacting householders in south Roscommon.

The places affected are Clonfad and Clooneish in the Moore area, and surrounding districts.

Irish Water is working in partnership with Roscommon County Council to carry out the essential repairs today (Tuesday, May 19). Customers in these locations may experience low water pressure and/or outages between 10.30am and 2.30pm, and it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers.

Irish Water and Roscommon County Council understand the inconvenience caused when emergency works occur and thank customers for their patience while we complete these essential repairs and restore normal supply to impacted customers.

The latest updates on these works will be available on the supply and service section of the Irish Water website https://www.water.ie.

The Irish Water customer care helpline is open 24/7 and customers can call on 1850 278 278. Customers can also contact Irish Water on Twitter @IWCare with any queries. Customers are reminded to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
