Parents informed of Covid-19 case in Athlone school

Parents have been informed of a positive case of Covid-19 in Coosan NS.

They were informed by the school via email on Sunday last.

“A public health risk assessment has been undertaken and the parents of any children deemed to be close contacts of the confirmed case have been contacted and advised accordingly,” the message stated.

A school representative has not returned calls from the Westmeath Independent today (Monday).
