Two different weather warnings for Westmeath and Roscommon

Met Éireann has varied its yellow rain warning this morning.

Yesterday, the forecaster issued the yellow warning for all 26 counties from midnight on Sunday to 7pm Tuesday.

This morning, it has issued two separate yellow rainfall warnings; one for Munster, Ulster and Connacht where slightly higher levels of rain are expected; and the other for Leinster.

The Connacht warning covers from Monday 8am to Tuesday at 3pm. Met Éireann says the there will be heavy rain during these times with a risk of flooding. Rainfall totals of around 30-50mm are expected, possibly higher in mountainous areas.

The Leinster warning is from 11am today, Monday, to 3pm Tuesday and is for 20-30mm of rain.
