Warning over risk of thunderstorms today

Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather waring for thunderstorms this afternoon across Leinster, Munster and Connacht.

The forecaster says there is a risk of scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, with a risk of hail and localised spot flooding.

The warning came into effect at 1pm today (Wednesday) and expires at 10pm.
