Calves killed in Lecarrow crash

Gardaí have confirmed three calves were killed following an accident in the Lecarrow area last night.

The crash happened at Killighan, Gort, Lecarrow around 10.30pm when a car collided with the animals along the stretch.

Luckily, the driver escaped any injury.

Unfortunately, the calves were killed, according to Gardaí in Roscommon this morning.

An investigation is underway into the incident.
