Derek Daly memorial run to go ahead on St Stephen’s Day

The annual Derek Daly memorial run/walk takes place at Garrycastle GAA club on St Stephen's Day - this Sunday, December 26 - in support of RehabCare.

Registration at the club is between 10am and 12pm. Walkers and runners can start at any time once they have registered.

People can complete the 5km distance throughout the day; there is no official race or start time. Covid guidelines will be adhered to at all times.

"We are delighted to announce our annual St Stephen's Day walk/run will go ahead this year," said a Garrycastle GAA spokesperson.

"We will have some changes to the usual schedule, and look forward to seeing our players, supporters and friends again on Sunday."
