Take care of mind, body and soul at Crossfit Croí
The crew at Crossfit Croí in Athlone are busy putting plans in place and setting goals for what is shaping up to be a busy 2023.
They are currently re-locating to a new bigger unit in Blyry, to re-open in February with lots of new classes being added to the timetable. Crossfit Croí has grown from an idea to a buzzing Crossfit Box, Fitness and Wellness Centre.
Crossfit Croí caters for clients of all ages and abilities and has a dedicated team of health and fitness instructors who work collectively to ensure the goals of all their members are met.
So if it's relaxation and yoga or an Indian Head Message you are after or some nutritional or focused one-to-one fitness classes from personal trainers or group Crossfit classes and sports massage for recovery, or even mobility and flexibility classes, Crossfit Croí can take care of it all.
Crossfit Croí was established in 2016 by local sisters Ursula and Patrice Kenny, with the idea of creating a community of like-minded people who support and encourage each other throughout every class and workout. They believe success and progress is more easily achieved with full support from a group of people with a common goal.
Ursula and Patrice are firm believers in constant learning and upskilling, so, in addition to their personal training and Crossfit qualifications, they are completing a higher certificate in strength and conditioning from Setanta College.
Crossfit Croí has, in the past two years, added strength and conditioning for teams. It had wonderful successes with local GAA clubs. Clann na nGael senior ladies have been availing of strength and conditioning training there for the past two years and this year won back-to-back county club championships at senior level.
The team at Croí, from Ursula, Patrice, yoga instructors and therapists, along with Anita Sheerin PT, specialising in Irish dancers' strength and flexibility, are willing to help you take that first step to taking care of your mind, body and soul.
