Athlone's Dan lines out for Ireland U15s in win over Wales

Athlone's Dan Costello has made another appearance for the Ireland Under-15 football team, coming on as a sub during a 4-0 win against Wales in Bray (yesterday).

Dan, a son of Suzanne and John, was called up to the international squad last year and started in a win against Croatia in Zagreb last October.

A former St Joseph's FC player, who now plays for St Patrick's Athletic, Dan was brought on as a sub in the 57th minute of the game against Wales yesterday.

Some 400 people attended the fixture in the Carlisle Grounds, and they witnessed a dominant display from the home side, who went in 1-0 up at half time before adding a further three goals without reply after the interval.

The two teams will again face each other in Bray tomorrow (Friday), with kick-off at 12 noon.
