Met Éireann warns of strong, gusty winds and difficult travelling conditions

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow warning for very strong and gusty southwest to west winds in Westmeath, Roscommon and Offaly.

The warning will come into effect tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5pm and will remain in place until the early hours of Wednesday morning at 2am.

Potential impacts include large coastal waves with wave overtopping, difficult travelling conditions and debris, loose objects displaced.
