Croke Park trip: Well done to all 39 boys who were invited to represent the club in the Croke Park Football Go Games on April 4. The kids are a fantastic group and are a credit to their families. Travelling in style on the Club Rossie bus, the boys played some fantastic football. They then enjoyed a tour of Croke Park, including taking in the dressing rooms and the players lounge. Hopefully they will be back there in the future representing club and county. It was great that the club was able to have two teams participating. Hopefully they will remember this fantastic experience for many years. Huge thanks to the all the parents & supporters who travelled to Croke Park to support the lads.

U12 hurling exhibition game: The club's U12 hurlers had a great day in Dr Hyde Park on Saturday as they provided the half-time entertainment in Roscommon's Nicky Rackard Cup win against Louth. Thanks to the players, coaches and parents for making it a fantastic day.

O'Rourke Cup: Padraig Pearses 0-9 Strokestown 1-7. The Seniors recorded their third loss in the O'Rourke Cup last Friday evening in windswept conditions at Woodmount. Having played against the elements in the first half, Pearses were 1-5 to 0-5 down at H-T.

Pearses managed to draw level the second half, but were unable to push on to win the game, losing out by a point in the end. The Woodmount pitch was the only club pitch playable in the county last Friday night and all should appreciate the work that goes into keeping it in good condition.
