RTÉ's Nationwide to feature All Ireland Drama Festival this evening

The popular Nationwide programme on RTÉ One television will be focusing on the All Ireland Drama Festival when it airs this evening (Wednesday).

The annual theatrical feast in Athlone's Dean Crowe Theatre began on Thursday last, and continues until this Friday.

Outlining this evening's episode, Nationwide said: "The 71st RTE All Ireland Drama Festival is in full swing in Athlone, with nine groups making it to the final.

"We meet two of these finalists, the Wexford Drama Group and Prosperous Dramatic Society, from Kildare on RTÉ Nationwide on Wednesday, May 8."

The Nationwide episode, hosted by Anne Cassin in Athlone, airs on RTÉ One at 7pm this evening.
