Luan Gallery opened its current exhibition, Apocalypse Anxieties, on Saturday, April 27, with guest speaker Ian Kenneally.

The gallery explained that Apocalypse Anxieties "responds thematically, aesthetically, and affectively to an underground 'nuclear bunker' installed by the Irish Government under Custume Barracks, Athlone, during the Cold War".

The exhibition features the work of Aideen Barry, Tom O’Dea, Léann Herlihy, Orla Punch, Christopher Steenson and Frank Sweeney.

It was supported by Arts Council funding and was curated by guest curator, Kerry Guinan.

Apocalypse Anxieties will remain on display at the gallery until June 27.

More information on the exhibition can be found here.
