Teenager injured following hit and run in Co Dublin

A pedestrian has been injured following a hit-and-run incident in Finglas, Co Dublin on Tuesday.

The incident happened on the Ratoath Road, at approximately 7.10 pm.

The teenage boy was brought to Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The car failed to remain at the scene.

Gardaí are particularly interested in tracing a grey/silver saloon with partial registration number 141-D.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision and to any road users or pedestrians who have camera footage (including dash-cam footage) and were in the area between 7 pm and 7:30 pm.

They are asked to make this footage available to the investigating gardaí.
