Man who sustained serious injuries in local crash passes away

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the R392 in Ballymahon, shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 29.

A man (30s), the sole occupant of the car, was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore for treatment of injuries. He passed away in hospital yesterday, Friday.

No other injuries were reported.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

Any motorists who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
