Westmeath to play Cavan and Roscommon face Tyrone in All-Ireland first round
Westmeath will host Cavan, while Roscommon will welcome Tyrone, in the first round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
The draw was made this lunchtime with both local counties through to the All-Ireland football championship irrespective of the result in their forthcoming provincial finals.
Westmeath will play Dublin in the Leinster final on May 17 knowing that they are guaranteed at least two further games in the championship.
They will host Cavan on the weekend of May 30/31, whilst Roscommon will face Tyrone in Dr Hyde Park the previous weekend, hoping to enter that tie as Connacht champions (they play Galway for title this Sunday).
The rest of the first round draw is Dublin v Louth, Cork v Meath, Monaghan v Mayo, Kerry v Donegal, Galway v Kildare, Armagh v Derry.
The eight winners of these ties advance to Round 2A, where the winners of the subsequent four games between those sides will qualify for the All-Ireland quarter finals.
The eight losers of Round 1 will play four ties in Round 2B.
The four losers of the Round 2B games will be out of the championships.
The four winners of those subsequent Round 2B games will move on to Round 3 where they will play the four losers from Round 2A.
The four Round 3 winners will then qualify for the quarter finals where the four original Round 2A winners will await.
