Garda investigating four South Westmeath burglaries in a matter of hours
Gardai are investigating four separate burglaries which happened in South Westmeath between 7am and 1.30pm yesterday (Monday).
The incidents included a report of an aggravated burglary at a home in Rosemount, Moate, at approximately 1pm.
There were also reports of burglaries in Ballymore at approximately 7am, in Drumraney at around 9am, and in Annagh, Ballykeeran, sometime between 11am and 1.30pm.
The latter incident is understood to have involved lawn equipment and other machinery being stolen from a garden shed.
At the writing, a Gardai press office spokesperson said investigations into each of the incidents were ongoing.
A local Garda representative said the suspects may have been driving a black Audi A3, possibly with an 08 MN registration number, although the plates may be false.
