Tickets go on sale for Westmeath's All-Ireland series fixture

Tickets for the Westmeath senior footballers round one All-Ireland series fixture against Cavan, confirmed for Saturday, May 30, at 5pm, in TEG Cusack Park Mullingar, go on sale this afternoon (Tuesday) at 12pm.

Fresh from their famous Leinster final win over Dublin in Croke Park on Sunday, Mark McHugh's charges must refocus the minds as they start a new phase of their championship campaign.

The match sees the return of Cavan manager Dermot McCabe to TEG Cusack Park following his departure from the Westmeath senior football role in August 2025.

Cavan exited the Ulster senior football championship in April following defeat by Monaghan at the quarter-final stage.

Buoyed by their provincial success, it is expected that a bumper Westmeath support will descend on TEG Cusack Park for this All-Ireland series fixture.

The Mullingar venue has an estimated capacity of 11,500 and supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance on ticketmaster.ie.

Tickets, priced €25 for adults and €5 for juveniles, go on sale at 12pm and are available from https://www.ticketmaster.ie/event/180064B2E410C84E

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the Leinster winning heroes will host an open training session in TEG Cusack Park Mullingar on Sunday, May 24, at 11.30am.

Clubs from throughout the county have been invited by Westmeath County Board who are encouraging families and supporters to "come along, meet the squad and management team and show their support for our senior footballers".
