Roscommon announces team for All-Ireland clash with Tyrone
Roscommon manager Mark Dowd has named an unchanged starting line-up for Roscommon's All-Ireland SFC Round 1 meeting with Tyrone on Sunday (King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park, 2pm).
The Rossies have been in flying form of late, sealing a dramatic Connacht final victory against Galway, 3-21 to 2-22, at a feverish Dr Hyde Park earlier this month. And hopes are sky-high around the county that the team will continue its current form when Tyrone come to visit at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Tyrone manager Malachy O’Rourke has made two changes to the team that were beaten by eventual Ulster champions Armagh, after extra-time, in their provincial championship clash last month.
Kieran McGeary and Matthew Donnelly have been drafted into the starting team instead of Ben McDonnell and Darragh Canavan. A son of former star Peter, Darragh is not included on the match-day squad of 26 after picking up an injury against Armagh.
