Applications open for cost rental homes at Cornamaddy Court

Applications for 14 new two-bedroom cost rental apartments at Cornamaddy Court in Athlone are now open.

The new A-rated homes, built by Glenveagh, will be managed by Tuath Housing, Ireland’s largest Approved Housing Body (AHB) and the leading Cost Rental provider, with rents set at €1,200 per month.

Cornamaddy Court is a collection of contemporary new homes located close to Athlone town centre, moments from Lough Ree and the River Shannon, offering excellent connectivity to local and national road and rail networks.

Situated on the edge of Athlone, Cornamaddy Court offers the perfect blend of modern town living and countryside escape.

The development is located close to local amenities, schools, shops, and transport links, making it an attractive option for individuals and families seeking secure and affordable rental accommodation.

Cost rental housing is open to people who do not qualify for social housing but whose net household income is less than €59,000 per annum.

The homes are expected to become available for letting from early August.

The application closing date is Friday, June 5.

Tuath Housing are delivering the homes in partnership with Glenveagh and with the support of Westmeath County Council through the Department of Housing’s Cost Rental Equity Loan (CREL) scheme and private financing from the Housing Finance Agency (HFA).
