West-Midlands Credit Union launches 2026 student bursary programme
West-Midlands Credit Union has launched its 'Educate 360' student bursary programme for 2026.
The bursary programme will award 12 bursaries of €1,000 each to students pursuing third-level education, PLC courses, apprenticeships, and other recognised educational pathways.
Applications close on August 28.
The Educate 360 bursary aims to ease the financial pressure often experienced by students and their families during the transition from secondary school to further education.
By providing meaningful financial support, West-Midlands Credit Union continues its tradition of investing directly in the future of its community.
To be eligible, applicants must be members of West-Midlands Credit Union. Applications can be submitted online via the Credit Union’s website at www.wmcu.ie.
John Doyle, CEO of West-Midlands Credit Union, emphasised the importance of supporting students at this pivotal stage in their lives:
“The Educate 360 student bursary reflects our deep-rooted commitment to our community. These students represent the future, and we are proud to support them as they take the next step in their educational journey.
“At West-Midlands Credit Union, we believe in empowering our members not only through financial services but through meaningful initiatives that make a real difference.
“Alongside the bursary, we offer a range of student-focused supports, including our low-rate student loan, and a fee free Current Account for students.”
