Ryan Tubridy visits Savoury Fare in Moate

The former Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy was a welcome visitor to Savoury Fare in Moate on Tuesday afternoon.

Taking to social media, Savoury Fare said Ryan was 'such a gent' and was 'willing to stop for a chat and a photo!'.

The business, which is co-owned by Des Hennelly and Rory Currid, said it was "delighted to have Ryan drop by Savoury Fare at Tuar Ard Moate" and "hoped he enjoyed his visit".

Savoury Fare celebrated 30 years in business in 2025 with the opening of the restaurant and café in Moate complementing existing Athlone locations in Irishtown, Fernhill and Monksland.

Tubridy previously visited the Moate restaurant and café in September 2021 when it was under previous management.
