Search underway for two missing dogs in Tubber area
An appeal for information has been made after two pet dogs went missing from the Tubber area.
The dogs were reported missing on Wednesday, July 1. The dogs were last seen in the vicinity of Ballycumber, with searches extending toward nearby areas including Tubber, Clara, and Moate.
The missing animals include an older female Akita, described as having a distinctive one-eyed appearance and a friendly temperament, and a male setter, also described as very friendly.
Both dogs are microchipped and neutered, which may help in their identification if found and brought to a veterinary clinic or shelter.
A reward has been offered for any information that leads to the safe return of the animals.
Their owners are urging anyone who may have seen the dogs, or who may have taken them in thinking they were strays, to come forward.

Local residents have been encouraged to check outbuildings, gardens, and rural land where the dogs may have taken shelter.
