Connacht launches its new rugby home kit
Connacht Rugby, in partnership with Macron Sports and Intersport Elverys, has today (Wednesday) revealed its new rugby home jersey for the 2026/27 season.
According to Connacht Rugby, the kit design takes inspiration from the eagle and sword from the Connacht crest.
Upon its launch, Connacht Rugby said the jersey's 'sharp detailing and subtle graphic elements echo the strength and precision of the crest, giving the jersey a bold, contemporary edge'.
'While the iconic Connacht green remains at its core, vibrant lighter green accents introduce a fresh, modern energy that reflects the evolution of the club’s identity,' Connacht Rugby said.
The jersey is made from Macron’s eco fabric, a 100 per cent polyester derived from post-consumer recycled plastic, and will be worn for the first time on Saturday, August 8 when Connacht women take on Ulster in the first round of the Vodafone IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship.
The jersey can be pre-ordered from today at www.elverys.ie and will go on sale in local Intersport Elverys store this Friday, July 17, along with the full 2026/27 training and leisure wear.
The Athlone store is one of the participating stores thats also includes Headford Road Retail Park Galway, Edward Square Galway, Tuam, Castlebar, Westport, Ballina, Claremorris, and Sligo.
