Athlone Little Theatre puts out open casting call

Open auditions will be staged next week for the upcoming production of 'Present Laughter' at Athlone Little Theatre.

Anyone interested in potentially getting involved in the production – written by Noel Coward and directed by Paddy Martin, should attend at the theatre (situated at St Mary's Place) next Tuesday, July 28, at 7pm.

In advertising the auditions, the theatre said that auditions are open and people do not need to be a member to come along to the casting call.

'Auditions are held in front of everyone else, but the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly', the theatre said.

The show's first rehearsal (read-through with full cast and crew) will be on Tuesday, August 11 at 7pm. Staged rehearsals will follow beginning on Thursday, August 13 and

thereafter, rehearsals will be held four evenings a week (Monday-Thursday).
