Tony and Trionagh Allen release first single from new album

Tony Allen, one half of the legendary Irish duo Foster & Allen, has recorded a cover version of the country song 'Jackson' with his wife, Trionagh.

'Jackson' was famously recorded by Johnny Cash and June Carter in 1967 and is the first dingle taken from the duo's forthcoming album 'Love Songs', which brings together 'two remarkable musical careers for a new collection of much-loved songs'.

With Foster & Allen, Tony has enjoyed more than 50 years of international success and millions of record sales worldwide, while Trionagh’s career has seen her record and perform with some of the biggest names in Irish music, as well as artists including Van Morrison.

In support of their forthcoming album, Tony and Trionagh have announced an Irish tour with a live performance scheduled for Tuar Ard Moate on Saturday, December 5.
