Temperatures to reach high of 20 degrees across Midlands
A high of 20 degrees Celsius has been predicted for the Midlands tomorrow (Friday) before the fine weather breaks early next week.
The temperature is expected to peak between 4pm and 5pm tomorrow evening, with the high expected to be the last of the fine weather for foreseeable.
Midlands weatherman Cathal Nolan of Ireland's Weather Channel said: “On Friday we see excellent conditions once again, we see the sunshine continuing wall to wall. There will be a little bit of high cloud, maybe not the clearest blue skies that we have seen over the last couple of days."
However, we can expect temperatures to dip into the mid-to-low teens, with more cloud coverage as we move across the weekend.
“On Saturday, we see a little bit of a more pronounced change. We see more cloud developing – still plenty of sunny spells to be enjoyed – there will be that extra little bit of cloud around though, with the potential for some showers as we go into the evening and night.
“Unfortunately, a more pronounced change on Sunday. We see more unsettled weather, and areas of low pressure expected to push up from the south. This will bring with it some heavy pulses of rains at times. Beyond that it looks like we're heading into a more unsettled spell of weather.”
