New tattoo parlour to open in former Behan's Fruit and Veg unit

A new tattoo parlour is set to open in the former Behan's Fruit and Veg unit in Athlone.

The Old Stone Tattoo House is set to open on Saturday, August 2, with the new studio offering both tattoo and piercing services.

The shop is owned by tattoo artist Eric Kilmartin, and employs two expert service providers, tattoo artist Hannah Byrne and piercer Dylan Heavin.

Located on Scotch Parade, Irishtown, Athlone, the building was home to Behan's Fruit and Veg for some 36 years, before its closure in August last.
