Three men arrested after €168k of cannabis seized in Dublin
Three men have been arrested after €168,000 of cannabis was seized in Coolock, Co Dublin on Wednesday.
During the course of the operation, a man in his 20s was stopped and searched in the Dublin 5 area.
Over €5,000 of cannabis herb was seized. The man was arrested in connection with the investigation and detained at a Garda Station in the North Dublin area.
He has since been charged, and is due to appear before the courts at a later date.
During follow-up searches at a number of locations in the Coolock area, canabis with a value in excess of €163,000 was seized.
Two men, aged in their 20’s and 40’s were arrested in connection with the investigation, and detained at a Garda Station in the North Dublin area.
They have since been charged, and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Thursday.
The seized drugs are subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
