Ballymore Tidy Towns held their annual Pitch and Putt and BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, September 13. A total of 36 teams took part in the competition, and many more guests joined them later in Cunningham’s Bar for an evening of entertainment, prize-giving, a raffle, and an auction.
The competition winners were: first, Cian O’Rourke, Dan Jordan, and Willie Derevan; second, Vinny McCormack, Joe Ennis, Ciaran Finnerty, and Stephen Rooney; U16 winners, Simon Fox, Harry Tone, and Tommy Weir.
The event was generously supported by sponsors, and all funds raised go directly back into year-round projects and the upkeep of the village. Ballymore Tidy Towns, made up of just 11 dedicated members and backed by community and scheme volunteers, continues to play a vital role in keeping the village vibrant and well maintained.
