Athlone woman's Telly Bingo windfall win

An Athlone woman made the trip to Lottery HQ last week to collect her Telly Bingo Snowball Prize worth €45,005 from October 17, draw. Her winning ticket was purchased from Spollen’s Supermarket, Glasson.

Speaking on her surprise win, the Athlone woman recalled “Funnily enough, I don’t play Telly Bingo and this was actually a gift from a friend. Admittedly, I don’t really know how to play”, she laughed.

“I checked the ticket after hearing there was a local win. I scanned the ticket on the app and from there, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, I just couldn’t believe it. I immediately told my colleagues, family and friends - everyone was thrilled, it was such an exciting moment!”
