Murray among try scorers as Ireland sweep Spain aside
Brideswell's Darragh Murray has been called up to the Ireland senior rugby squad following his try scoring performance for Ireland A as they defeated Spain 61-24 in Leganés on Saturday.
The 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at Buccaneers RFC and currently stars for Connacht Rugby, made his first appearance for the Irish senior side in a test match against Georgia in July and contributed to Ireland's 61-24 win over Spain with a first half try.
Fellow Buccaneers representative Paul Boyle also made a scoring contribution to the Ireland A success, the forward touching down before the break as the visitors exerted their dominance in the Estadio Municipal de Butarque.
Meanwhile, Robbie Henshaw earned his 83rd senior cap when contributing to Ireland's 41-10 victory over Japan in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
The centre played the full contest as Ireland claimed their first win of the November series, remaining fixtures against Australia and South Africa at the Aviva Stadium to come.
