Westmeath cathaoirleach to attend New York St Patrick's Day parade

The cathaoirleach of Westmeath County Council, Cllr Aoife Davitt, is to attend the St Patrick’s Day Parade in New York on March 17, at the invitation of the Westmeath Association in New York.

Her attendance was approved at the monthly meeting of the county council last week on the proposal of Cllr Niall Gaffney, seconded by Cllr Vinny McCormack.
