Athlone Town women's All-Island Cup fixtures confirmed

Athlone Town's fixtures for the 2026 Women's All-Island Cup have been confirmed.

It is a competition which has eluded Athlone Town since its introduction in 2023 and the reigning Premier Division and FAI Cup winners will have ambitions to rectify this when the competition starts earlier next month.

Athlone Town have been placed in Group C along with Treaty United, Cork City and Irish League Women's Premiership club Cliftonville.

Athlone open with a home fixture against Cork City on Saturday, April 4, kick-off 6pm, before travelling to Belfast to play Cliftonville in Solitude on Sunday, May 10, at 2pm. The Town complete their group phase fixtures with a trip to Limerick to play Treaty United on Saturday, May 30, at 2pm.

The four group winners will progress to the knockout stages of the competition as seeded sides, while the four runners-up will progress as unseeded sides in the quarter-finals.

The quarter-finals take place on the week ending Sunday, June 14, with the semi-finals down for decision on the week ending Sunday, June 28.

The All-Island cup final will take place on Sunday, July 18, and will be broadcast live by TG4.
