Athlone Town league games chosen for live coverage

Two of Athlone Town's upcoming SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division fixtures have been selected for live broadcast by TG4.

The reigning Premier Division and FAI Cup champions will be the focus of the live television cameras when they travel to Eamonn Deacy Park to play Galway United on Saturday, May 23, at 7.45pm.

The TG4 cameras then roll into Athlone Town Stadium on Saturday, June 27, for the host's home fixture against rivals Shelbourne, with kick-off at 7.35pm.

Athlone Town have made an unbeaten start to their 2026 Premier Division campaign with two wins and a draw from three games played.

They host second placed Peamount United in the Athlone Town Stadium on Sunday evening, kick-off, 6pm.
