Missing Athlone teen found safe and well

A teenager who was the subject of a missing person appeal has been located safely.

Gardai said today that Leon McGovern (15) who was reported missing from Athlone since Tuesday had been located safe and well.

Gardai thanked the media and the public for their assistance.
