Westmeath gardai to ensure compliance on national day of action

A national day of action on motorcycles, quad bikes, mopeds, e-scooters and powered personal transports will take place in County Westmeath on Wednesday (April 22).

Members of An Garda Siochána from the Westmeath Division will be carrying out enforcement throughout the county in an effort to ensure compliance with current transport regulations.

A garda spokesperson said "any persons found to be breaching any road traffic offences will be issued with fixed charged penalty notices if they cannot abide by the rules of the road".
