St Brigid's Community Choir makes charitable cheque presentations

Three community organisations have received cheques from St Brigid's Community Choir, the proceeds of recent fundraising initiatives by the Kiltoom-based group.

Athlone Sub-Aqua Club, Kiltoom Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Group Ltd and Cam Defibrillator Group each received €1,000 towards the service which each provides in the community.

St Brigid's Community Choir member Tommy Healy said the group promotes the value of community and fosters a keen sense of belonging and shared ambition.

Members have described their individual experience of the choir as being ‘inspirational’, ‘uplifting’ and ‘socially gratifying’.

Established in 2013, St Brigid's Community Choir currently has a membership of approximately 45 people.
