Athlone ladies' mini-marathon to raise funds for IWA

The details of the 2026 Virtual VHI Ladies' Mini-Marathon in Athlone has been announced.

This year's event will be taking place on Sunday, May 31 at 1pm with the meeting point at Clonbrusk Resource Centre. All members of the public are invited to take part.

The 5km walking route will take participants on the greenway towards Mount Temple with beverages to be served at Nugent's Shop at Garrycastle.

The walk will then return to Clonbrusk Resource Centre with refreshments and celebrations taking place at The Coosan Tavern.
