US singer Sabrina Carpenter has urged her fans to take a break from their phones to dance to a new song she has released with veteran pop star Madonna.
The 26-year-old features on Madonna’s Bring Your Love, which will appear on her upcoming album Confessions II – a sequel to her 2005 Confessions On A Dance Floor album.
In a post on Instagram, she said: “Bring Your Love is out now. Thank you @Madonna for inviting me to be a part of Confessions II, I hope you all enjoy it and take a break from phone, and go out and dance.”
Madonna, whose real name is Madonna Ciccone, said in a post promoting the single: “We’ve got something to say about it.”
It comes after Madonna, 67, joined Carpenter during her performance at US music festival Coachella to premier the song and perform further tracks including Madonna’s hits Vogue and Like A Prayer.
During the performance, Madonna appeared on stage after Carpenter had been performing her song Juno.
At its viral “have you ever tried this one before?” moment, Carpenter struck a pose reminiscent of those in the music video for Vogue, and the music changed to the 1990 single as Madonna walked out.
During the set, Madonna reportedly told the crowd: “Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella – I was in the dance tent and it was the first time I performed Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part I in America and that was such a thrill for me.
“So you can imagine what a thrill it is for me to be back 20 years later, so it’s a like a full circle moment, you know – very meaningful for me.”
Following the performance, Carpenter thanked Madonna on Instagram for the “privilege” of her “dream” performance with the star.
Since launching her career in the 1980s, Madonna has had 13 UK number one singles and 12 number one albums.
Confessions II is set for release on July 3rd.
Madonna has won many accolades including seven Grammys and two Brit Awards.
Carpenter rose to worldwide fame in 2024 with the release of her sixth album Short ‘N’ Sweet, which contained hit singles such as Espresso, Please Please Please and Taste.
She followed the album with last year’s Man’s Best Friend, which contained hit singles such as Manchild and House Tour.
The singer has had four UK number one singles and two number one albums.
