Community cycling challenge to take place in Ballinahown

The community in Ballinahown will come together this weekend to complete a cycling challenge laid down to its young residents.

The Community Cycling Challenge will take place at the Sports Park, Ballinahown on Sunday, May 10 (12.30pm) and anyone interested in taking part is invited to attend.

Organisers will be challenging the children in the community to cycle a total of 150km together. Younger children will be asked to cycle one lap of the Sports Park with older children challenged to do multiple laps. Refreshments will be provided for participants and there will also be a Bike Swap initiative on the day, where people can bring along unused or unsuitable bicycles to possibly swap with other people.
