Roscommon Fleadh to be held in Athlone in 2027

Roscommon County Board has announced the Fleadh Cheoil Contae Ros Comáin 2027 will be hosted by CCÉ Áth Luain

The Board offered their sincere thanks to CCÉ Baile Ros Comáin for hosting a fantastic Fleadh in 2026.

"Their hard work, dedication, and warm hospitality ensured a wonderful celebration of our traditional music, song, dance and culture.

"Now, we look forward to next Easter as the Fleadh heads to Athlone. Mark your calendars and get ready for another fantastic weekend of ceol, craic and community spirit."

In Athlone, one of the earliest branches of CCE, the branch relaunched in 2024, run by committee members Ellen Glennon (Cathaoirleach), Fiona O’Neill (Leaschathaoirleach), Mary Norton (Rúnaí), Philippa Barry (PRO), Miriam Nally (Cisteoir), Anita McEnroe (Treoraí na Gaeilge).

CCÉ Áth Luain previously hosted Fleadh Cheoil Ros Comáin 2025, where competitors, musicians, families and visitors flocked to Athlone for sessions, workshops and competitions.
