Athlone's Victoria Lewis announced as Miss Universe Ireland 2026 finalist

Athlone's Victoria Lewis has been announced as a Miss Universe Ireland 2026 finalist.

The launch of the event took place on Thursday June 4, at Bewley’s Café Theatre on Grafton Street, Dublin, welcoming finalists, sponsors, media and special guests for an evening of elegance, celebration and golden summer glamour.

The current Miss Universe Ireland Aadya Srivastava (19) from Galway was crowned last year by Miss Universe Ireland 2024 Sofia Labus from Cork.

Miss Universe Ireland will follow in the footsteps of previous winners Roz Purcell, Joana Copper, Dancing with the Stars alum Aishah Akorede and Sofia Labus and Aasya Srivastava.

Miss Universe Ireland has become an increasingly influential platform for ambitious young women in Ireland, opening doors in modelling, media, business, advocacy and international representation.

The winner of Miss Universe Ireland 2026 will receive an exclusive prize package along with the honour of representing Ireland on the world stage at the Miss Universe global final, where delegates from more than 100 countries will compete for the title and reigning Miss Universe, Fátima Bosch Fernández of Mexico, will crown her successor.

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) is a global, inclusive organisation that celebrates all cultures, backgrounds and religions. The organisation is entering an important chapter in its history as it prepares to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Miss Universe competition, a milestone that reflects decades of global influence, cultural relevance, and an enduring commitment to empowerment.
