Plans for new restaurant on Athlone's Sean Costello Street

Plans have been submitted for a new two-storey eatery, named Dinjo's, in Athlone town centre.

The application for the proposed development at 1 Sean Costello Street was made by Ballykeeran company DA Property Development Contractors Ltd on Friday, June 5.

Plans for the proposed development include the refurbishment and change of use of an existing two storey mixed use commercial and residential property into a new café/restaurant over two floors.

Works will include the construction of a new single-storey extension to the rear; all associated internal and external alterations to provide new servery, seating areas, kitchen, and toilets.

A new shopfront to the front façade, external landscaping; and ancillary site development works at the site.

A decision is due on Tuesday, July 30.
